viewing entry : To sleep, perchance to dream.

As stated in the last audio message from Helmsdale, we decided to try to make JOG in three days. This meant that we awoke this morning at 5:30 am for an early start. Easier said than done, but we did complete the 20 odd miles just after 3pm. A similar start and number of miles tomorrow should see us complete. Very tired and sore now, sleep comes very easily.

waking up at 5.30 and walking for 20 miles seems like such fun. Are you sure you'll want to come back? Try to remember your nice soft beds all ready and waiting for you. And showers. And clean clothes. And beer

Amazing, you've nearly done it. And your speeding along to the finish line. Must be like the hiking version of the vinegar strokes!!!!

Cooper came back from iraq last night and he didn't drink for 6 months!!! There's gonna be some dirty drinking this weekend.

I cant believe your nearly done, I feel quite proud you've done so well, I know that comment was fairly out of character, it must be the puppy making me feel all mushy! Take care and enjoy your celebrations, there'll be more of them to come, have a good trip home x
