viewing entry : Many miles. Much rain.

A very long, very wet day. Pretty much on A9 all day due to firth crossings and sea entrances to loch's. Ok drizzle in morning but heavy rain all afternoon and till nightfall which is now before half eight. Tarmac hard on the feet especially when wet as difficult to get feet out to breath at breaks. Due to crazy pace and distance may get to last food stop tomorrow. Always exciting as get to see new maps. We have been warned of a big hill. Have a good weekend.

Nearly there!! hope you've grown nice big beards by now and I'm sure the fingernail growth is very impressive. I expect you can't wait to get back and catch up on everything you've missed in Eastenders too.

at least the forecast is better for the weekend. keep going after all this effort - it will be worth a massive drink and meal.
well done indeed!

keep it up boys, not long to go now...we're about 1000 miles in over here, keeping on towards the Indiana/Illinois border. looking forward to hooking up and comparing walking tales at Christmas!
