Struck camp early this morning with no mishaps. On the trail by seven. Had brekky at four odd miles and purified more water. Farmer came over on his quad bike and informed us the track was in dispute. had to back track a tad and then hit a rather big hill. Day was not looking promising. After twenty five minutes climb day started to perform. Big crazy thunder storms that echoed round the valley right next to us but never got wet. Far out. Did our full sixteen miles and because Of a mistake with route planning have now camped three miles in to the last day. We may get to welshpool early enough to get back home saturday night. Be nice to get to see everyone but it will be a shame to miss one more night out. Still got to make it though. Early night tonight, nine thirty.
