viewing entry : Seventh week over

25/08/2006 21:55 by Dan

Today was the end of our seventh week, only three and a bit to go! Making good progress on St. Cuthbert's way through the lowlands before the hills. We passed the Eilgon tree, which is actutally a stone. Apparently it is where Thomas Rhymer fell asleep, probably under the influence, and was carried off by a fairy to her land. What only seemed a few days turned out to be 7 years and once awake he uttered jibberish which was taken to be poetry and prophecy. Check him on the net, only in scotland.
