viewing entry : Wet and dry

Really should be dry then wet. Very wet. Left food stop and on to hadrian's wall. Tough going but very impressive. Did about 8 miles before Pennines split and we headed north again. Heavens opened about four with heavy rain just to make sure kit and boots didn't dry! Really starting to feel like we are in the middle of nowhere. Scottish border looms but midges already present. Hard day ahead tomorrow so on the trail by 7 if all goes well. 1 month to go today. Hope everyone is well.

Run, Forest, run!

Awesome achievement old chaps.

Dan, hope you're free on 7th October. I'm having a birthday get-together in a pub, in the middle of nowhere (but quite near Avebury). We will mostly be drinking ale. I've emailed you.

Hi guys - Sorry its been a while - I've been stuck in the Pit by the Sea. I can't believe how fay you are already! your doing amazing time & I'm really looking forward to your return. It's weird hearing about all your random new friends your making on the walk are they as much spinners as yourselves? Thanks for the letter just It really brightened up my day.

I have a question that I would like answered on the audio diaries if possible - how does the guy with the helicopter get it out of his garage, Does he have a sliding roof so he can just fly it straight up and out?

Take care guys, I will definatley try to leave a message again soon.

I'll never understand the motivation - but am very impressed with your sheer courage and endurance. What stars! It's a hell of a way to lose a few pounds though. Good luck!

Just to keep you up to date with current affairs while you are away... Remember Guy Goma, the job applicant mistakenly interviewed as an expert on BBC News 24? He's just struck a "six-figure deal" with a Hollywood producer to make a film about the gaffe - and wants soul legend James Brown to play him. "He's my all-time favourite,"

Nanny Chapple has great concerns over the midges. She asked me to tell you about these last week. How do we get Uncle Brave to sit up and take notice. Where are you bro?
