Got to the Cross Inn at Avening yesterday afternoon. Dave and Becky gave us a very warm welcome at their charming establishment! Dave also introduced us to John and Ellen, who kindly allowed up to use the field by their house to camp. After we left the Cross very well fed and contented, John kindly treated us to tea and biscuits as we showed him the website. In the morning we were supplied with tea and toast with their kids - Sam and Rebecca. A very lovely family and we thank them for the hospitality.
