Crazy day today. Got up at half five to meet pete the organic dairy farmer. Milked a cow by hand at six then helped with the rest of the herd and the automated 'suckler' machines. Very cool but weird. Had fresh milk for breakfast obviously. Hard day though with new watch showing thirty six degrees! Will hopefully pick up food tomorrow but will be a push. Picture is of me in the river exe collecting water for a late brekky a few days ago. Thanks for all the comments. Reading them has become addictive.

Hi both - wow!!! Just picked up Dan's audio diary - 168 miles hey? - pretty impressive (the distance and the techie know how!!) and so far so good. Hope you have plenty of sun cream packed and water melon after sun spray for your feet ;) Will be tuned in to your progress - keep having fun x

Curiously meeting you both at Morchard Bishop made us walk with more purpose - must have been the sense of shame about heading to a B&B! We even met a couple of guys heading our way next day at lunch (like buses these walkers). I see my Mum posted a comment - I knew if I told her we'd met you she wouldn't be able to help herself! Great work on the collection of fruit and milk. Will watch your progress with interest - keep up the good work. Still hoping for better weather for you both.
