The second day started the same way as the first ended - with rain. The weather changed for the better about midday which meant we could take our waterproofs off, by that time we were boiled in our own sweat. Nice. Footpaths are a bit hit and miss here, we've ice to battle with more than one dense patch of nettles and brambles. We soon got our revenge with a few judicial swipes of a walking pole. Conversly bridal paths are spot on, shame we have to go out of our way to use them!

pity you have'nt a machete! ..but then you might get arrested for having an offensive weapon.
